OUR FOUNDERS
Dave and Emily Meester are the husband-and-wife owners and founders of Woods Bay Wine— both Certified Sommeliers who share a passion for hospitality, food, and wine.
Dave grew up in a family-run restaurant north of Whitefish, pursuing a career in hospitality before earning his sommelier certification in 2022. Emily brings deep Montana roots and a global wine perspective shaped by travel across Europe, South America, and the U.S.
Together, they’ve created Woods Bay Wine as a welcoming space rooted in Montana heritage and elevated by their shared expertise in culinary arts and wine.
